Chilliwack RCMP Need Info for March 20 Hit and Run – Cleveland Avenue and Nowell Street

Chilliwack – RCMP need you help with home security or dash camera video for an investigation into an alleged hit and run.

Early Saturday Morning ( 2AM, March 20, 2021), Chilliwack RCMP responded to the report of a pedestrian struck by a car at Cleveland Avenue and Nowell Street. Officers located a 23-year-old man suffering life-threatening injuries. BC Ambulance transported the man to hospital where he remains in serious but stable condition.

Evidence gathered by officers during their investigation associates a dark-coloured Honda Civic travelling northbound on Nowell Street to the collision.

Chilliwack RCMP are asking residents and motorists travelling in the area of Cleveland Avenue and Nowell Street on March 20, 2021 from around 1 to 3 a.m. who may have home security or dash cam video to contact police.

We are reaching out to residents and motorists who may have captured images to contact us, says Corporal Mike Rail spokesperson for the UFVRD. As well anyone with information regarding a dark coloured Honda Civic in the area that morning is asked to contact police.
