Chilliwack – Fraser Health has issued a new overdose alert for addicts. This is a Fentanyl Contamination with Benzos. The increase in overdoses has promoted this warning.
In the last 24 hours (Friday to Saturday) there has been an increase in overdoses in Chilliwack. These overdoses appear to be associated with a bluish green substance being sold as fentanyl.
This is the second major overdose alert this year for Chilliwack, the first was in January.
Naloxone may not fully reverse the effects of an overdose with this substance.
