Two Homes Lost in Suspicious Promontory Fire

Chilliwack – Two homes were severely damaged early Monday morning (@1AM), after a fire on Jinkerson and Macswan (47000 block of MacswanDrive). Sources tell FVN that backup was an issue for firefighters.

Fire crews from Halls 1, 3, 4 and 6 responded to the scene and upon arrival discovered a single-family home heavily involved in fire with flames spreading into the attic space of an adjacent home

No one was hurt.

This fire is under investigation by Chilliwack Fire Department and RCMP fire investigators.If anyone has any information about this fire, they are asked to call the RCMP at 604-792-4611 or anonymously through Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or www.chilliwackcrimestoppers.ca
