Chilliwack – If you were caught in the Saturday downpour, you can be thankful that you were part of history.
Environment Canada’s Roger Pannett told FVN that May 30th 2020, was a record rainfall in Chilliwack. 31.7 mm.
The previous record was 24.9 mm in 1940.
FYI, the wettest May day ever recorded in Chilliwack was 83.8 mm on May 1st ,1956.
