Mounties Investigate Drunk Driver In Chilliwack Rollover

Chilliwack –  RCMP investigation of an collision led police to an alleged impaired driver.

Around 6:30 p.m. on May 24, 2020 Chilliwack RCMP responded to a report of a two-vehicle collision with one vehicle rolled over on Evans Road and Yale Road.  As police conducted their investigation, an officer noted symptoms of intoxication in the 25-year-old man from Chilliwack allegedly operating the over turned vehicle.

Police detained and later released the individual from custody.

RCMP are submitting all circumstances of the investigation in a report to the BC Prosecutors Service for their assessment of charges for impaired driving.
