Pacific Autism Family Network Officially Opened Fourth Location in Fraser Valley (VIDEO)

Richmond/Chilliwack – The Pacific Autism Family Network (PAFN) invited community members to the grand opening of its newest spoke in the Fraser Valley (Yale Road next to the Chilliwack Business Centre, off Five Corners, Chilliwack).

In late 2016, PAFN opened their first location –the 60,000 sq.ft GoodLife Fitness Family Autism Hub in Richmond, and opened smaller satellites in other areas of B.C. in 2017 (Kelowna and Prince George). The network ensures that all British Columbians have access to state-of-the-art resources for assessment, treatment, education-support and research, providing a “one-stop-shop” for families looking for help in their navigation of available information and services.

The newest addition to the Pacific Autism Family Network was completed with support from Steve Saccomano and the funds raised at the annual Saccomanicas Golf Tournament. His family understands the family needs for this misunderstood diagnosis.

Now that Chilliwack is open to serve family needs in the Fraser Valley, the next opening should be in 2020 on Vancouver Island.

The centre is set up for diagnosis, education for parents and workers, meeting rooms, library as well as quiet rooms when things become overwhelming.
