Royal Hotel’s Christmas Mittens For Chilliwack

Chilliwack – During this giving season, Chilliwack’s Royal Hotel is asking the community for donations of new mittens and gloves. The hotel has partnered with Chilliwack Community Services and the organization’s existing “Christmas Sharing” campaign with the addition of “Christmas Mittens”.

Not only will they warm the fingers of children in Chilliwack, they will also enhance the festive décor at the hotel. The mittens and gloves will be hung from the branches of our 12 ft. tall Christmas tree before being donated to Chilliwack Community Services for distribution.

“We are pleased to partner with Chilliwack Community Services this holiday season by collecting mittens and gloves that will be given to those in need”, remarks Len Wiens, general manager.

The hotel is also a location for the CCS Angel Tree Program, where anonymous unwrapped gifts are also being collected for children in need in our community.
