Chilliwack – Just after midnight, early Halloween morning (October 31), Chilliwack Fire was dispatched to a residential structure fire located in the 46000 block of Margaret Avenue.
Firefighters responded from Halls 1,4, 5 and 6, and on arrival, reported smoke and flames on the exterior at the rear of a single-story residential home. The structure was vacant and boarded up at the time of the fire.
The home suffered extensive fire damage to the exterior and smoke damage to the interior .
No one was hurt. .This fire is considered suspicious at this time, and is under investigation by the Chilliwack Fire Department and RCMP.
