Fraser Valley- Purple Light Nights was created in part to honor those who have lost their lives to domestic violence, and bring hope to those still facing violence. As well as to show support and ensure everyone knows that we wont tolerate violence against women.
There are ceremonies and vigils throughout October in Abbotsford and Chilliwack.
In Abbotsford, join the vigil on Wednesday October 9th at The Reach Gallery on Veterans Way between the Court House and Clearbrook Library, 6-8pm for the lighting ceremony. The Purple Lights Exhibit will be on display for the month of October.
