Harrison Lake Lagoon Re-Opens In Time For Labour Day Long Weekend

Harrison Hot Springs (with files from Michie Vidal, Harrison Hot Springs Councillor) – It’s that time of the year again. On August 19, Fraser Health and the Village of Harrison, closed the Lagoon due to e coli counts. Fraser Health was monitoring and taking regular samples. This is not unusual during late summer, especially after a long, dry spell and plenty of … well.. a few goose droppings.

10 days later, Fraser Health deemed the levels acceptable to re-open the lagoon to swimmers.

For more information, the Village website is here.
