Record-Breaking Attendance For Cultus Lake Day

Cultus Lake – This year’s Cultus Lake Day broke all past attendance records – seeing more than 15,000 people attend the family-friendly event on June 22, 2019. It was the biggest and best-attended event ever thrown in Cultus Lake Park.

Thee estimated attendance numbers were determined through review of pay parking revenue received at Cultus Lake Park on June 22 and community attendance.

Said Joe Lamb, Cultus Lake Park Board Chair and Community Events and Engagement Committee Chair: “It was great day – we were thrilled to see the thousands of people who came out to participate in this annual event.” He added. “There were so many great activities including a pancake breakfast, parade, children’s fun area, farmers’ and artisan market, and a beverage and entertainment garden – with live music all day. Of course, the fireworks – which were the biggest we’ve produced to date – are always a highlight. This is an event produced by a volunteer committee and supported by the Cultus Lake Park staff. They deserve a big round of applause for all of their hard work. They certainly knocked it out of the park this year!”
