Chilliwack Citizens For Change Tailgate Action Party – Over $900 Raised For Chilliwack Youth Health Care Centre

Chilliwack – Kim Mallory is the founder of Chilliwack Citizens for Change. Their Mission is to promote acceptance, diversity, and positive change in Chilliwack through progressive thinking, innovation, collaboration, and action.

They work towards being a voice in the community and advocates for the homeless the environment and promoting diversity and acceptance.

Their tailgate party was their first official event (on Thursday evening). They held a Silent Auction with donations from local community members and businesses, a 50/50 draw, door prizes and swag bags.

43 tickets were sold and $900 raised so far. Another donation could be coming in.

All proceeds will go to the Chilliwack Youth Health Care Centre.

Chilliwack Mayor Ken Popove was in attendance and thanked everyone involved.

It was sponsored by Shelley Goerzen & Christine Hayden of Arbonne.

To David Swankey for your speech on community and being so prepared that I had a speech to honour our First Nations unceded land 😍To Kim Mallory and Christine HaydenChristine my BONNE BABES and bad ass warriors of peace and love 😍 What a week we have had ! Fatima Zaidi because I dont do math !!!!! And everyone who donated or came out. Since last October we have been on a mission to make Chilliwack an inclusive, diverse and thriving city. I think we may just do that 😁 CHEERS !

The event was at the Flashback Brewing Company, 1- 9360 Mill Street, Chilliwack. Thursday June 27 from 6PM-10PM.
