Abbotsford – Be aware that a bear was seen in the east end of Ellwood Park (Abbotsford off Maclure Road) on Monday. It’s important to remember that we live in bear and cougar country and we should expect to encounter these animals almost anywhere in the City. Be wildsafe and bear aware and educate yourself as to precautions you can take to avoid conflicts with wildlife.
