25th Anniversary Of Langley Community Day – Saturday June 15

Langley – In celebration of Community Day’s 25th anniversary, Langley City has expanded the fun-filled, all ages event. On Saturday, June 15th from 11:00am – 7:00pm, Douglas Park will be alive with roaming performers and dynamic entertainment.

This includes the internationally acclaimed Nearly Neil and the Solitary Band, 24 food trucks, over 40 organizations providing community information, youth and kids activities, a beer garden, and a delicious concession fundraiser (meals $5 or under).

As well there is a parking fundraiser from 10:00am – 7:30pm for $5.00 (cash only) in support of Douglas Park Community School.

Langley City’s signature event has activities for all ages including face painting, kids crafts, a rock wall, 9-Hole Mini Golf, The Eliminator, BC Dairy Association Mobile Dairy Classroom, Hungry Hippo Chow Down, Inflatable Corn Maze, Ninja Warrior Obstacle Course, 5-in-1 Jungle Bouncer, Boom Blaster, ball hockey with the Langley Rivermen, an artisan marketplace, and a Kids Fire Firefighter Challenge. And it is all FREE!

During the event, attendees can sign up to win a Parks Department custom wooden bench, one of the 7 Council designed planters, and some additional gift packages. Langley City will also be launching its newest multi-season event campaign #LCLive! at the Community Day Festival. As part of this campaign, Langley City will be giving away $25 in gift certificates every week until September 1.
