Chilliwack – Cowork Chilliwack is a communal work place with office and audio/video space. It is billed as a safe and secure space to do business and for small and medium size business to get a foot hold without spending a ton of dollars.
Since June 2, this secure area has been targeted by vandals and the man behind the concept, Tim McAlpine is frustrated.
From June 2 on Facebook : Cowork Chilliwack on Harvard Place (off Airport Road) was broken into on Sunday, June 2. Thankfully, all member offices were securely locked. An old Apple notebook, headphones and projector were stolen from the common areas.
From June 9: Cowork Chilliwack on Harvard Place (off Airport Road) was broken into on Sunday, June 9 (one week after the last time). Once again (thankfully) no Cowork Chilliwack member offices were entered and no member belongings were stolen. The theives smashed the front door and took a gumball machine (with no coins in it). I have been in this location for 19 years without incident. This is heartbreaking. Has anyone seen this pair before?
There are two files with RCMP on the break ins and if you have any information on either one Call RCMP. The file info numbers are:
