“Our team has been working hard over the past month to get everything ready for our re-opening,” said Denise Darrell, Executive Director of Community Services at SOURCES. “We are very grateful to be able to continue serving the hundreds of people that rely on us to feed themselves and their families.”

The Sources Langley Food Bank has been in the community for over four years. They discovered at the end of January that the property where they operated had been sold and had be out by the end of April. An urgent search for a new home began, and with ardent support from the community, a new space was found in late March.

The Sources Langley Food Bank is a program of Sources Community Resources Society. Beyond food distribution, the Sources Langley Food Bank has an Advocate on site to assist people with housing, income supports, mental health, and more. Their clientele include children, adults, seniors, refugees, newcomers, and other citizens of Langley City, Langley Township and Aldergrove.
