Chilliwack – Planet Fitness, the innovative health club franchise known for its Judgement Free Zone® and affordable prices, today announced the opening of a new club at 45150 Luckakuck Way in Chilliwack (next to Value Village).
This will be the first Planet Fitness club to enter the city, and its seventh location operated by the ECP-PF Holdings Group, Inc. in Canada.
The new location will officially open its doors this spring. Planet Fitness prides itself on offering extremely affordable memberships and a unique Judgement Free Zone® unlike any other gym, where members experience a hassle-free, non-intimidating environment.
As part of its mission to eliminate judgement and intimidation and promote kindness and acceptance, Planet Fitness partnered with the Boys and Girls Clubs of Canada (BGCC) in 2016 on an initiative called The Judgement Free Generation. Supported by Planet Fitness and its franchisees, the goal of this philanthropic partnership is to combat the judgement and bullying faced by teens through program funding, training, and resources. Planet Fitness was a sponsor of BGCC’s 2017 National Youth Forum that took place in Ottawa in May 2017.
