Pilots Season Ends – Lose Game 6 To Langley – In OT

Langley – The Langley Trappers emerged victorious on Sunday afternoon over the Abbotsford Pilots, 4-3 the final score in Game #6 to close the first round series 4-2. All four Langley goals were scored on the power play. It was a back and forth affair with clubs exchanging goals throughout the afternoon and Langley never holding the lead until the end of the game. The eventual overtime winner was scored by Casey Whintors in the first overtime period. Trappers goaltender Kristian Lyon made 38 saves and was awarded 1st star honours. Abbotsford goaltender Keaton Dyck finished the afternoon with 25 saves. Langley will now face Grandview in the second round of the playoffs.
