Fraser Valley/Vancouver – You have no doubt noticed, that letter carriers haven’t been slogging through the snow as frequently as many of us would like them to.
You can’t really blame them. Road and sidewalk conditions are terrible in the Fraser Valley and it is still amazing that many people don’t take into consideration the fact that if sidewalks are not passable, the mail simply doesn’t go through.
On time or at all.
Canada Post has issued a yellow alert for parts of Greater Vancouver, Vancouver Island, and Sunshine Coast. The snow has slowed down the delivery process from Vancouver to the rest of BC. Most of the processing for the Fraser Valley is done in Vancouver.

Weather conditions are impeding mail delivery in the Greater Vancouver Area, on Vancouver Island and the Sunshine Coast of BC.
While every effort is being made to deliver the mail, some customers may not receive mail today. Delivery will resume once it's safe to do so. Please clear and salt walks and stairs to keep everyone safe. https://t.co/fgB2Q0JYfg
