For the record, after all the complaints about spam in Messenger, Bell released a statement:
“Bell Canada only donates to ‘Let’s Talk’ for each text message sent on our own Bell cellular network.
Messenger is NOT a Bell Canada entity, therefore any messages stating Bell will make donations for shared/forwarded Messenger messages is false, and you are sending spam. Thank you for your inquiry for clarification”
