Chilliwack Metis Association Hosting Genealogy Day – Saturday, January 19 (VIDEO)

Chilliwack – The Chilliwack Metis Association is hosting a Genealogy Day on Saturday, January 19 from 10am to 4pm at the Sto:lō Resource Centre 7201 Vedder Road.

Teams will be on-hand to help you connect the dots to your ancestral families and guide you in applying for citizenship.

Organizer Louis De Jaeger notes that the Metis database from the Chilliwack Metis Association as well as well documented date from the old Hudson’s Bay Company (from the fur trade days) is meticulous and will be used to traced back family history.

You are asked to register for this free event. Lunch will be provided.
