Langley Township Unveil Gapyeong Stone Korean War Memorial, January 22

Langley – On Tuesday afternoon January 22 (3PM), the Township of Langley will hold a special ceremony to unveil the Gapyeong Stone Korean War Memorial in the Derek Doubleday Arboretum.

The stone was presented to the Township by Gapyeong County, South Korea, as a symbol of sacrifice, honour, and gratitude for the important contribution Canada made to the Korean War during the Battle of Gapyeong.

Veterans, volunteers, and Korean and Canadian dignitaries will be in attendance.

Please note the ceremony is for invited guests, and the public will be welcomed after the ceremony is complete.
