Abbotsford – Fun Run meets Obstacle Race; Step Up 4 Cardiac Health Event is your next fitness challenge.
February 9 marks the second annual fitness event for the Fraser Valley Health Care Foundation (FVHCF).
“This event is a perfect opportunity to bring your friends, family or co-workers together and kick start your day while fundraising to support Cardiac Health” remarks Liz Harris, Executive Director. Each lap is 596 steps and takes approximately 7 min to complete. The record for the most laps from last year is 12 laps. “This year people can do laps in the concourse as well. So all fitness levels can come out and have fun” said Harris.
Step Up 4 Cardiac Health Event is being hosted at the Abbotsford Center. “We are grateful for the support from the Center to make this event happen rain or shine” said Harris. “Funds raised will directly support the Cardiac Health unit at Abbotsford Regional Hospital”.
