Chilliwack RCMP Arrest December Stabbing Suspect

Chilliwack – A Chilliwack man faces charges after being arrested by police during a RCMP investigation of a stabbing.

On December 23, 2018, the Chilliwack RCMP received a report of a stabbing at a business in the 45000-block of Yale Road. Evidence collected by the Chilliwack General Investigation Support Team (GIST) officers during their investigation linked a suspect to the stabbing.

On December 31, 41 year old Ryan Todd Malow was arrested.

Mr. Malow is charged with aggravated assault as well as assault with a weapon and remains in custody pending a court date in January.

The victim is expected to recover.
