Chilliwack – The inbound scale at the Bailey Landfill is scheduled to be replaced on December 30th and 31st. Anticipate traffic delays for the landfill and potentially for the adjacent recycling depot on those days. For information visit chilliwack.com/landfill.
Tentative schedule (subject to weather):
- December 17 – inbound scale will not be operational for part of the day; some delays expected for landfill customers
- December 21 – recycling depot layout may be adjusted to allow access for a concrete truck to work on the new inbound scale deck; no delays expected for recycling depot customers
- December 30 – inbound scale will not be operational and recycling depot access will be reduced as the new scale is installed by crane; delays expected for both landfill and recycling depot customers
- December 31 – final scale commissioning; some delays expected for landfill customers
