Fraser Valley – With tongue in cheek, BC Search and Rescue posted their holiday hours to Twitter on Friday night. It’s not the first time they have done this, but it’s always good for a chuckle and sobering thought.
NOTE: They never take time off. If there is an emergency, Search and Rescue is always available. This years wet and wild weather will make the back country dangerous and be forewarned about avalanche risks.
But this is funny.
It’s time to remind everyone of the 80 recognized ground SAR groups’ winter break hours. Please be sure to share far and wide so everyone knows! Have a safe & happy holiday, call early if you need us, & may all your adventures be #AdventureSmart @BC__AS pic.twitter.com/F1jV9reeov
