Plaque Ceremony Honouring APD Constable John Davidson

Abbotsford – One year ago, the Valley, and law enforcement throughout North America, were shocked to hear the news, of the death of 53 year old Abbotsford Police Constable John Davidson.

He was shot and killed in the line of duty by a man who had opened fire in a strip mall on Mt. Lehman Road.

65 year old Oscar Arfmann will go to trial in early 2019.

On Tuesday, a solemn ceremony, complete with bagpipes, family, friends and invited guests were at Thunderbird Memorial Square in Abbotsford to mark the one-year anniversary of the death of Cst. Davidson.

A plaque honouring the him was unveiled to the public.
