OCTOBER 31 ORIGINAL STORY – The 4th Annual General Meeting of Heritage Chilliwack is Thursday November 1 at 7PM – Royal Hotel, Downtown Chilliwack.
New Directors will be voted in and this is a perfect time to find out more about the Society, how it plans to continue their struggle to keep heritage homes and sites alive in Chilliwack (and away from the wrecking ball) and to preserve history.
All this includes your participation and interest.
Heritage Chilliwack Society is a non-profit society formed in 2014 by a group of community-minded individuals concerned with preserving Chilliwack’s built and natural heritage.
Their vision is of a community that celebrates Chilliwack’s rich heritage, shared experiences and values. They envision the creation of a co-operative environment where heritage and community groups work alongside governments to engage, enrich, educate, and promote Chilliwack’s culture and heritage.
