Abbotsford PD – Flagman Place Shooting – Witnesses Needed

Abbotsford -OCTOBER 17 UPDATE – Abotsford Police Major Crime Detectives continue speaking to witnesses as they investigate a shooting that occurred on Flagman Place on September 18, 2018. 

Investigators are aware that as the shooting occurred, two pedestrians were walking east bound on Roundhouse Road at Flagman Place and may have witnessed the shooting.

Investigators would like to identify and speak with those two pedestrians and urge them to call the Abbotsford Police Department’s Major Crime Unit at 604-859-5225 or call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.

 

SEPTEMBER 19 ORIGINAL STORY – One man is in custody Wednesday morning in relation to a shooting incident occurring Tuesday night on Flagman Place. 

Abbotsford Police Department Patrol officers attended the 2900 block of Flagman Place at approximately 7:30PM Tuesday night in response to numerous calls reporting shots fired. 

 A 43 year old man is in police custody facing firearms related charges. He was found at the residence.

Abbotsford Police Major Crime Detectives continue to investigate this incident.  At this time, it does not appear that this incident is associated to the Lower Mainland Gang Conflict.   

The Abbotsford Police Department Major Crime Unit Detectives and the Forensics Identification Unit are canvassing for video and additional witnesses. Anyone with information about this investigation is asked to contact the Major Crime Unit at 604-859-5225 or call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
