RCMP Nails Suspect In Construction Site Theft

Chilliwack – RCMP credit an alert neighbour for the recovery of stolen property and arrest of a suspect.
 
Early Monday morning ( 8AM August 20) Chilliwack RCMP received a report that a man was attempting to break into a residence in the 46000-block of Bonny Avenue. RCMP immediately responded and arrested the suspect near the address. Evidence linking the suspect to a theft from a construction site was seized by police during the arrest.
Chad Joseph Ellsworth, 40, of Chilliwack is charged with break and enter with intent and theft under $5000. Mr. Ellsworth remains in custody pending a court date in mid-September.
