Yarrow – On Tuesday afternoon (August 14 @3PM) Chilliwack Fire was dispatched to a reported structure fire located in the 4300 block of Eckert Street in Yarrow.
When firefighters from halls 1, 3, 4 and 6 arrived on scene, they found a single storey outbuilding fully involved. Firefighters went into a defensive mode, quickly knocked the fire down and brought it under control before there was any exposure damage to the house and surrounding buildings.
No one was hurt.
The fire appears to be accidental and is still under investigation.
