Chilliwack Fire – Structure Fire In Abandoned Home On Princess

Chilliwack – Early Monday Morning (@ 4:30AM, July 30) firefighters from Chilliwack fire halls 1, 4 & 6 responded to a structure fire in the 46000 block of Princess Avenue.
This was not far from Ruth and Naomi’s
When firefighters arrived they found a vacant, two storey family residential home with flame and smoke showing from the second floor and attic space.
Firefighters confined and quickly extinguished the fire to the second floor area and attic space of the house.
 
Fire damage was contained to the central area of the second floor, attic and roof structure.
 
No one was hurt.
According to social media posts, this home was frequented by squatters.
 
The fire is still under investigation by the Chilliwack Fire Department.
