Chilliwack/Hope – The NEB National Energy Board, will be holding a hearing, sometime in mid-October, to address concerns over routing of the Trans Mountain Pipeline in Hope. That hearing will be in Chilliwack.
In particular, near the Kawkawa Lake Reserve.
The route hearing is in response to a written statement of opposition concerning a portion of the route.
The board will not reconsider matters that were addressed in the certificate hearing. The board will hear matters related to the best possible detailed route of the pipeline and the most appropriate methods and timing of constructing the pipeline, in relation to the legal description.
