Maple Ridge – Ridge Meadows RCMP is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying an alleged suspect wanted in relation to a sexual assault investigation.
On Wednesday, June 20, around 1:20AM, in the area of 210th Street and Dewdney Trunk Road, a 21-year-old Maple Ridge woman was outside with her dog. An unknown man allegedly approached her asking to pet the dog and, as he got close, he placed his arms around her waist and squeezed her buttocks. The woman screamed and the man ran away.
Suspect description
• Caucasian Male
• 19 to 25 years of age
• 5’11, thin build
• Clean shaven
Wearing
• A light burgundy sweater with the hood up
• Black or navy blue cargo or khaki pants
• Dark shoes.
