Chilliwack – As the walls of the new Chilliwack Molson Coors Brewery are closing in, the “small” brewery tanks have arrived at the new plant on Kerr Avenue and are now being installed.
The larger tanks will be sent down the Fraser by barge from New Westminster.
The smaller tanks could fit under Highway One overpasses, but that is not the case with the monster cans. They have to be shipped on the river and starting Monday, make their slow way through Chilliwack, without any overhead obstacles.
The plant remains scheduled for opening in 2019.
