Langley Flooding – Evacuation Alert

Langley –  At approximately 9am on May 15 the Mission Gauge reached 5.5 metres. As a result, an Evacuation Alert has been issued by the Township of Langley for the unprotected flood plain areas of Northwest Langley and Glen Valley, as well as Brae Island and McMillan Island.

This is NOT an Evacuation Order.

Evacuation Alerts are issued to allow residents and property owners to prepare in the event an Evacuation Order is issued.

Fort to Fort Trail closed from Salmon River Pump Station to the west, fronting the Fort Langley Golf course. Portion of Trans Canada Trail closed at trail head entrance at southwest corner of Allard and 208 Street.

Update: May 14. Marina Park Trail closed from the viewing deck east to the Marina Boat Launch.

Due to safety concerns from rising river levels, Marina Park boat launch closed on Sunday, May 13.
