Chilliwack – Over the weekend, the Chilliwack Hospice Society held their 7th Annual Hoedown for Hospice at Evergreen Hall.
Once again, the community and sponsors came out in droves and the 250 people who bought tickets and opened their wallets, did not disappoint.
The event featured dinner, entertainment, silent and live auctions, live music and dancing plus the return of the Mechanical Bull!
Hospice Society Executive Director Sue Attrill says they raised $57,225 which up $7,000 from last year.
The Society serve the communities of Chilliwack and Agassiz and often venture further out to assist First Nations Communities. People can self refer or be referred by the hospice palliative care team, care facility staff, physicians, families, friends or community organizations.
