UFV’s First Woman President Dr. Joanne MacLean Highlighted On BT For International Women’s Day March 8

Vancouver/Fraser Valley – Thursday March 8 is International Women’s Day, and part of the celebration includes Dr. Joanne MacLean.

She will be featured on Breakfast Television on City TV Vancouver (Cable 13) at approximately 8:40AM.

Dr. MacLean will be the new President and Vice-Chancellor of the University of the Fraser Valley.

She is the first woman to hold the title of President at UFV in a non-interim role.

MacLean is currently Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences at UFV and will officially assume her new role on May 1, 2018. She replaces Jackie Hogan, who has held the office on an interim basis since June, 2017.
