Chilliwack RCMP Search Suspected Marijuana Dispensary

Chilliwack – Suspected marijuana and cannabis products were seized during the search of an alleged marijuana dispensary.

The investigation started on Wednesday (February 21) when a patrolling Chilliwack RCMP Quick Response Team (QRT) officer observed suspicious behaviour of individuals outside of a business in the 46000-block of Yale Road.

Evidence gathered by the officer was reported to the Chilliwack Crime Reduction Unit (CRU).

Later that same evening CRU officers supported by the Prolific Offender Suppression Team (POST) and QRT executed a Controlled Drug and Substance Act (CDSA) search warrant at the address.

A large quantity of suspected marijuana, cannabis edibles, oils, pills, cash, and business records were seized by officers during the execution of the warrant.

No arrests were made by police.

RCMP will be submitting all their info in a report to Crown Counsel for their assessment of CDSA charges.
