Langley/Abbotsford – An Abbotsford man known to police, found dead after a Thursday night targeted shooting in Langley, has been identified as 21 year old Dai Duong Duong.
Duong was shot around 11PM Thursday at a home near 204th Street and 82nd Avenue in Langley.
IHIT believe it was a targeted attack linked to other gang violence in the Lower Mainland.
Witnesses say some half a dozen shots were fired in a green (backyard) area of a townhouse complex. Many families with kids are in the neighbourhood. It is fortunate that no one else was hurt.
There are reports that Duong was visiting someone in the complex.
