Fraser Valley (Ann Soutar) – It has been a long time since I picked up a book that I couldn’t put down. “Passages” by Anne Hamre, was a beautiful reminder of how captivating a great book can be! This story of her grandparents life is incredible. Homesteading in the Fraser Valley, this story chronicles her family’s journey from North Wales to our beautiful Valley, and all the hardships and triumphs they endured. I am grateful that I had a day off when I started this book, because I could not put it down once I started it!
I highly recommend this book! It is one I won’t lend or give away, because I will definitely read it again! 6 stars out of 5!
