Chilliwack – To celebrate Canada Day, the City of Chilliwack and BC Transit are offering free service on all Chilliwack Transit routes on July 1, making it easier to get to and from the festivities at Townsend Park and Evergreen Hall.
There will also be additional buses on route 2 Evans throughout the day, with service every 20 minutes. Buses on that route will run well into the evening, with the last bus leaving Cottonwood Mall at 10:53 p.m., and the last bus to the malls leaving the downtown exchange at Spadina at 11:08 p.m. All other routes will operate on a regular Sunday/Holiday schedule, with service ending in the early evening.
