Abby Police – Arson At Big O Tire On South Fraser – UPDATE

Abbotsford -JUNE 21 UPDATE – The Major Crime Unit of the Abbotsford Police Department continues to investigate this arson. At this point, it is believed that the fire was started from inside the business. Detectives are releasing two images of the suspect fleeing the scene with the hope that someone will be able to identify him or may recall an interaction with a person with a similar appearance either prior to, or after, the fire was set.

The man immediately dialed 911 and reported the fire and the fact that he observed a person running from the scene eastbound.

He described the person as a thin male who was wearing dark clothing and a hoodie.

Abbotsford Police Department Major Crime Unit detectives are working with AFRS to determine the cause of the arson. APD investigators are canvassing for video and additional witnesses.
