Abbotsford -MARCH 6 UPDATE – IHIT identified the victim as Joseph Kellington, 24, of Mission. He was known to police.
ORIGINAL STORY – SATURDAT MARCH 4 – On Friday afternoon (March 3 at 5:04pm) someone located a deceased male on a rural property in the 4500 block of Ross Road. Abbotsford Police Patrol Division, Major Crime Unit, Forensic Identification Section and Integrated Homicide Team attended the scene and are investigating the incident.
The initial indications suggest this death is suspicious in nature. This appears to be a targeted incident.
The Abbotsford Police Department has now transitioned this investigation to the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team.
