Mission – In late July 2016, Mission RCMP started an investigation of sexual assault into 35 year old Mission resident, Andrew Gordon PURSER, whose female victim was in her teens.
On December 16, 2016, Andrew Gordon PURSER entered a guilty plea of Sexual Interference of a person under 16 years old and was sentenced to: two years in jail; two years of probation; firearms prohibition; and ordered to provide a DNA sample.
Through further investigation, police believe that there may be other victims in the community.
