Fraser Valley – To give crews a little more time to clear pathways and roads to schools, the Chilliwack School District made the decision Sunday night to keep schools closed on Monday.
Chilliwack Private Schools Unity Christian & Highroad Academy will also be closed.
Fraser-Cascade which covers Agassiz, Kent, Harrison and Hope have also closed for the day.
Seabird Island Community School is closed today.
In Abbotsford : St. James Elementary and St. John Brebeuf Secondary School remain closed.
Mission Public Schools are open.
All Maple Ridge – Pitt Meadows, Langley public schools are open. School buses: all regular routes are on snow routes.
UFV Abbotsford and Chilliwack are open Monday under winter weather conditions for exams. UFV Hope Centre is closed today.
We are watching the weather and monitoring road conditions closely so please check back here before leaving for UFV. Please allow extra time to get to your exam or class and exercise your judgement when deciding to travel. The Campus Connector shuttle bus is operating on its normal schedule. Winter clothing and footwear are recommended. Our snow removal crews have been working all weekend and overnight to clear snow from walkways, building entrances, and parking lots.
