Hope – The BC Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of a youth who died after a motor vehicle incident near Hope on November 7, 2016.
He was Darryl Peters, aged 14, of Hope.
Darryl was struck by an eastbound semi-trailer unit on Highway 7 near its intersection with Chawathil Road just west of Hope at about 8:30 p.m. on November 7.
He was deceased at the scene.
The BC Coroners Service and RCMP continue to investigate this death.
