Chilliwack – Join us in building a better Transit Future for Chilliwack! BC Transit and the City of Chilliwack are hosting a public engagement process that will include both online and in-person opportunities to participate.
The City of Chilliwack recently approved a plan for transit service expansion over the next three years. This is your chance to provide your input on this plan, and help shape what future improvements will look like.
Specific proposals include: weekday service to Yarrow and Greendale, and a proposed new Route 9: Industrial, to serve the areas of Yale Road, Lickman Road and South Sumas Road.
Watch for BC Transit staff at various locations in the City of Chilliwack and door-knocking to provide feedback in-person. Paper copies of surveys will also be available on Route 9: Industrial buses.
Residents of Chilliwack and the surrounding area can also provide feedback through an online survey that can be accessed here. The survey will be online until Tuesday, November 1, and will also be available in print format onboard Chilliwack buses beginning on October 11.
