Chilliwack RCMP Need Help In Break and Enter Investigation

Chilliwack- The Chilliwack RCMP are seeking the public’s assistance to identify a suspect in their investigation of a break and enter into a home in Sardis.

The police investigation was initiated on August 2, 2016 after Chilliwack RCMP were contacted by a home owner in the 45000 block of Higginson Road who reported that, while his family slept, their home was broken into overnight.  As the General Duty officer pursued the police investigation, evidence was gathered linking a suspect to alleged transactions using the victim’s credit card at local businesses.

“The investigation included the gathering of security surveillance video from the businesses where the stolen cards were used.  While reviewing the surveillance video collected during the investigation, an image of the suspect was revealed,” says Constable Daniel Buck of the Chilliwack RCMP.

The suspect is described as:

·         A Caucasian male

·         Approximately 25 years old

·         Thin build

·         Wearing a grey ball cap, black hoodie with red lettering, and black track pants

“RCMP are asking for the public’s assistance to identify the man in the security camera image whom, we believe, is associated to property stolen from the residence on Higginson Road,” said Corporal Mike Rail RCMP spokesperson for the UFVRD .

Anyone with information to this incident is urged to contact the Chilliwack RCMP at 604-792-4611 or, should you wish to remain anonymous, call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
