Chilliwack – The Chilliwack Alano Club is that little white house in the middle of old downtown (Victoria and Nowell) that everyone looks at and many don’t really know what goes on in there.
It is NOT an exclusive club house. In fact, it is open to everyone (family friendly) who wants a clean and sober environment to meet and perhaps grab a bite to eat and socialize.
It is also the home of 12 Step meetings of AA (Alcoholics Anonymous), Alanon (for friends and family in 12 Step recovery) as well as Coda(Co Dependants Anonymous).
Recently, for security and safety reasons, a fence has been put up around the property. That may have scared off a few people and that was not the intention.
On Saturday August 20 from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM, the Alano is holding their annual Appreciation event with a FREE BBQ. It is not only for it’s patrons, it is for AYNONE who wants to learn more about the club and recovery.
Saturday night at 9PM , there is a FREE clean and sober dance. There is plenty of parking across the street at the Chilliwack Business Centre.
